About

The Snaith Lavender Charity Ball is a local event that first took place over twenty years ago, and after the success of last few years, the event will continue. Since the Snaith Lavender Ball first started, it has been so successful and well supported that we have been fortunate enough to raise over £102,000 for breast cancer charities, local hospital cancer units and other related charities.

The ball continues in memory of Julie Westley, the winner of The Selby Times Volunteer of the Year 2010 (posthumous award), who worked so tirelessly each year, not only to ensure that all those attending had a fantastic evening but also that an incredible amount of money was raised for the charities so close to her heart.
